Trauma Counselling and Psychological Debriefing
Debriefing and trauma counselling are specialized, critical interventions designed for individuals who have experienced a profound, traumatic incident in their life. Traumatic events can alter your perception of safety and manifest in numerous ways. We recognize that each person possesses a completely unique emotional processing system, coping with grief, loss, violence, or trauma in their own distinct way.
When a crisis occurs, it often triggers intense and volatile emotional responses. These can include pervasive fear, helplessness, horror, weeping, deep sadness, anger, shock, guilt, and outrage. Our practice offers a dedicated, clinical space to safely hold and process these disruptive reactions.
